Here we are in 2012, a few skirmishes’ in the battle against Unfair, unjust & ultimately as proven in the High Court of Australia ILLEGAL laws, last couple of years. For any who think we can relax, as the worst is over, BZZZZZ, wrong this battle will only heat up. In QLD we have an election year, changes to the Anti-Association Law up here late last year, guarantees a election campaign based on "Law & Order", "Getting Tough on Crime", and any other clichés you can expect a pollie to trot out.
Northern Territory has also modified their laws, and WA has pushed ahead with introducing them in the West.
At the moment the governments have been winning the propaganda war, as they hold power over the press, it would seem. There has been very little press coverage that has actually taken a serious look at the ramifications of these laws beyond the evil "Bikies".
As we in the Biker world are well aware these laws that take away centuries old rights (at the stroke of a pen) are not limited to Bikers, but all Australians can be affected by these laws if they are enforced to the letter, without fear or favour.
2011 saw the continuing parade of corrupt police and government officials, a group whose criminality and crime rate, far exceeds that produced by any group of Motorcyclists. With abuses of Police powers as prevalent now as at any time in history, we see a greater need for the protection of the community from rogue Cops, who care less about "To Protect and Serve" than about continuing to flout the laws of evidence, line their own pockets and assaulting their victims with the relative secure knollage that the chances of them being caught, (although increased with prevalence of Mobiles with video cameras built in) is still relatively low due to the Blue Gang Brotherhood, protecting their own.
We have to maintain the rage and step up our fight to protect the rights of not only ourselves but all Australians. The task to fight for these rights has been left to us through general apathy, and a complicit media, that have allowed the governments to write away inherent rights that date back to the Magna Carta in 1215.
Freedom is never given it has always had to be fought for.
Happy New Year and welcome to 2012

Short video pointing out inaccurate figures in a Queenland Government brochure.
This is the video that Camel has produced to let people know that these 2009 - 2012 statistical figures have been manipulated

Please pass this on to everyone you know your club members, your family, extended family, friends, mates, work mates, your local politician

United Motorcycle Council Queensland (UMCQ)
CAMELS BLOG :- We have seen an increased amount of media hype of late, when you look at the various ‘articles’ on the various media outlets, there is clearly an almost rabid repeating of the same story’s in different cut and pasted formats but basically no new info. READ THE REST HERE http://www.umcinc.com.au/index.php?mact=CGBlog%2Ccntnt01%2Cdetail%2C0&cntnt01articleid=48&cntnt01returnid=85 Please share all the information on this page Thanks
