Alex Leapai round 1 KO victory over Troy Weida short and smashing the way it should have been so well done to Alex for not pussy footing around.

A nice worthy opponent to kick off the year would be fantastic, maybe a rematch with Travis 'Freight Train' Walker a fight people want to see and Alex would take.

Looks like Kali Meehan is taking on Travis Walker on the Geale card in Tassie.

Next date to look forward to is 18th March exactly 11 days after Daniel Geale's Mandatory defense against Osumanu Adams in Hobart.

Alex the Lionheart Leapai is ready to take a bigger step on the world heavyweight scene fighting a man that went 12 rounds with Vitali Klitschko WBC champion. Noel and his team have nailed an exciting fight for all to see, bringing in Kingpin Kevin Johnson America's No14 top heavyweight.

Team Leapai know the job that is in front of them and are tackeling it like kings, flying Demetrice King in for top grade sparring. Demetrice has been in the ring with Johnson in 2006 and went ten rounds with Tua in March last year, Tua won on points.

Alex is looking at fighting internationally in his next fight if all goes well on Sunday 18th so if you want to see a hard hitting night of boxing come on down  :)

Boxing on Foxsports this Friday night or looking for a night out down the GC, Souhtport RSL will be the venue for Jamie Myer Promotions first show for 2012.

Qld Heavyweight champ Col Wilson v WA tough man Lucas Browne...a nice test for Browne who has won 9 of his 10 fights by KO.
